On My Way!

So, last week I had appointments with a couple of retail stores in Lincoln. I must admit I was a nervous wreck. Moving into retail is a pretty big deal for me ( I am only a one woman business ya know!). And to be honest I wasn't sure they would be interested in what I had to offer. However, I am thrilled to announce that all three stores loved my products and want to start carrying them! As of next week, June Bug & Co picture frames, wall letters & fashion clips will be available in Avant Card (in the Gateway Mall and the location at S 48th & Van Dorn), as well as, Plum Creek Gifts (on N 48th and Superior). But I'm not done yet. I'll be meeting with two other stores this week. Hopefully I'll have some more good news to report soon!

A week in the life of June Bug

Welcome to my first blog entry for June Bug & Co! It seems like my life as a glitter bug is constantly changing. I wanted to be able to capture all of the dynamics and share it with ya'll. Well this week has been crazy busy! Yesterday I had a booth at the Neat Repeatz consignment sale and attended the Cathedral of the Risen Christ Art Show opening which I am a participating artist. However, all the mayhem was worth the effort. It is always good to be exposed to creative folks and get feedback about your work. I am truly appreciate to everyone I met yesterday.

Today, I'm back to my creative work and continuing on with my latest project of fabulous shoe embellishments. Basically, they are clips that will be jazzed up with precious bows, feathers, buttons, flowers and whatever else that's awesome. I can't wait to have these finished to show everyone!
